The Tampa Bay Rays are in a tough spot, with repairs for Tropicana Field possibly costing $39 million. With a new stadium planned for 2028, the team needs to figure out where to play for the next three years. They could fix Tropicana Field or look at other options, like their Spring Training site in Port Charlotte, sharing a stadium with the Miami Marlins, or using nearby parks like Steinbrenner Field or the Phillies’ park in Clearwater. City officials are working with the Rays to decide what’s best while the area recovers from Hurricane Milton.
