During the news, Galvin asked Geo if he was finally ready to jump in, but Geo as usual was reluctant, saying the $800 million wasn’t enough for him to play. Mike Calta said if he won, he would retire and give everyone on the show $1 million, though Galvin thought that was a bit low for such a big prize.
Tuesday’s drawing offers the seventh-largest prize ever. The record jackpot was $1.602 billion in August 2023.
