On The Mike Calta Show today, Galvin discussed Disney’s attempt to block the lawsuit. Geo commented that suing Disney is very tough due to their unlimited resources and power, saying, “You don’t screw the mouse; the mouse screws you.” Galvin pointed out that people often miss the fine print, while Mike thinks the family should win if the case goes to a jury.
The lawsuit was filed after a woman, who had allegedly informed the restaurant staff of her dairy and nut allergies, died from an allergic reaction to food at Disney World. According to reports the restaurant was supposed to be allergen-friendly, but she later had a reaction and passed away at the hospital.
