On The Mike Calta Show, Galvin reported the passing of actress Teri Garr at 75 due to complications from multiple sclerosis, a condition she had battled for years. Known for her roles in Young Frankenstein and Tootsie, Garr also played Phoebe’s mom on Friends. Galvin pointed this out to Carmin, knowing she’d recognize Garr from that role. Garr’s death gave Mike unexpected points in the show’s death pool, as he hadn’t realized she was on his list. Geo still insists he isn’t playing this year, claiming it’s rigged, but the rest of the crew maintains he’ll be expected to pay up at year’s end.
