Phillies Outfielder Nick Castellanos has strangely been known over the years to hit home runs either during somber/serious moments during the game broadcast, or on days where something monumental happens.

One of the first awkward moments was when announcer Thom Brennaman was making an on-air apology for saying a homophobic slur off-air that was caught on a hot mic

More recently, he hit a home run on the day President Biden announced he’s stepping down from the Presidential race and the day of Donald Trump’s assassination attempt. Here’s a list someone made of all the times:
