On Wednesday, Brady threw another prize in Gronkowski’s direction. This time, it happened with a toss over the water during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ victory parade.

Brady threw the Vince Lombardi Trophy off a boat during the team’s Super Bowl parade on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa, WFTS reported.

As the boats rolled down the river, Brady was holding the trophy the Buccaneers won after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at nearby Raymond James Stadium. Gronkowski, trailing in the boat behind the GOAT, called for the trophy.

Brady heaved the 7-pound, sterling silver trophy toward Gronkowski’s boat. Gronk did not catch it, but it ended up in the hands of another Buccaneers’ tight end, Cameron Brate.

Second option, no doubt.

“You can hear Vivi (Brady’s daughter) yelling, ‘Dad, nooooo,’' Brady posted on Instagram stories. “Another clutch catch by @cambamgram (Brate).”

Brate later said it was the most crucial catch of his career.

“If I had dropped that? I think I would’ve had to retire,” Brate told the Tampa Bay Times. “That was amazing. He pointed it at me. We talked about it earlier,

“It was a great throw. I mean, what do you expect from Tom Brady? A great throw.”
