Farrah Forke, who co-starred on the sitcom “Wings” and also had a role in “Lois & Clark,” died Feb. 25 at her Texas home, her family said. She was 54.
Forke had been battling cancer for several years, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Farrah was fierce, tender, loyal, loving, strong, funny, smart, protective, kind, passionate and utterly irreplaceable,” the actress’ family said in a statement. “She brought a light so great to the world that even after her passing, the light remains.”

Forke was best known for her role as helicopter pilot Alex Lambert on “Wings,” appearing in 35 episodes from 1992 to 1995, according to IMDb.dom.
In “Wings,” Forke was a love interest of both Joe (Tim Daly) and Brian Hackett (Steven Weber), according to Variety.
Hackett eventually won her favor, according to the entertainment outlet.
Forke also had a recurring role as attorney Mayson Drake on Season 2 of “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” appearing in four episodes, according to IMDb.com.
Her acting résumé includes roles on the television shows “Ned and Stacey,” “Mr. Rhodes” and “Party of Five,” along with appearances in movies “Brain Twisters,” “Disclosure” (1994) and “Heat” (1995), according to The Hollywood Reporter. She also did voice acting, playing superhero Big Barda on the television series “Batman Beyond” and “Justice League Unlimited.”
Forke was born on Jan. 12, 1968, in Corpus Christi, Texas, according to the entertainment outlet. She attended the Hockaday School, an all-girls private school in Dallas. She made her acting debut in a local production of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” then moved to New York to study drama at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
