The streaming platform is turning the page on “The Addams Family” saga and is now going to produce a show focusing on Wednesday Addams.

Zeta-Jones’ portrayal of Morticia will be in a guest-starring capacity, Variety reported. She follows in the shuffling footsteps of Carolyn Jones, Anjelica Houston, Daryl Hannah and Charlize Theron.

Vogue said Zeta-Jones’ casting was perfect since “She’s got the long, dark hair, and a signature husky voice to match it. But more importantly, the star also has a history of wearing vampy black dresses on the red carpet, meaning her personal style is meant for this role.”

The show will also star Jenna Ortega as Wednesday and Luis Guzmán as Gomez.

There is no word if the rest of the family members will be part of the series and who, if they are, will play them.

An eight-episode order for “Wednesday” was announced in February and will follow the title character as a student at Nevermore Academy as she tries to hone her emerging psychic abilities, stop a killing spree and solve a mystery that is connected to her parents.

“Wednesday” will be live-action, Vogue reported and is being directed and executive produced by Tim Burton, Variety reported.
