ARLINGTON, Va. — One person is in custody after a bomb squad unit was called to a Virginia home Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The incident occurred after Arlington County Police served a search warrant, WUSA reported.
According to a tweet by the police department, authorities “located concerning materials” and requested a bomb squad unit.
POLICE ACTIVITY: ACPD is conducting a search warrant in the 1100 block of N. Stuart Street. Police located concerning materials and have requested the assistance of the bomb squad. The suspect has been taken into custody. Expect continued police activity in the area.

Arlington County Police said that its department is expected to keep officers in the area, WUSA reported.
No further information has been released by police, the television station reported. It is not clear why a search warrant was being served.
