Missing from the action Tuesday in Game 4 — and for the remainder of this World Series — was postseason star Adolis García. He injured his oblique on a swing Monday and was removed from the Texas Rangers' roster after evaluation Tuesday. Max Scherzer was also removed from the roster following his injury Monday and won't pitch again this series.
The Rangers' hitters appeared unfazed by those developments. They got on the board quickly in Game 4, scoring five runs in the second inning, highlighted by a triple from Marcus Semien and another home run from Corey Seager.

The Rangers put up another five runs in the third inning to make it 10-0 early. As part of that rally, Semien broke out in a big way with his first home run of this postseason. In both five-run innings, all the scoring happened with two outs.

The Diamondbacks got on the board with their first run in the fourth. Jonah Heim hit a solo homer to make it 11-1 in the top of the eighth.
In the bottom of that inning, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a three-run homer to make it 11-5. The Diamondbacks tacked on two more in the ninth for a final score that looks a lot closer than this game really was.
