If you know much about Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins then you probably know he’s also a huge wrestling fan. He’s such a big fan that back in 2017 he bought NWA Wrestling. According to Creative Loafing they saw a press release stating that “athletes from Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan’s National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) will ‘compete at most of the festival locations.’”
As of now I haven’t seen any word on who will appear or in what capacity but now there’s a new level of entertainment coming to The World Is A Vampire Tour when it hits Tampa’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater August 20th.
Also be on the lookout for Billy locally in the Tampa area around show day since there were reports of him shopping for records in Tampa’s Seminole Heights area when they were last here in October.
