I remember when rap was really starting to take off culturally in the 80′s and 90′s. You could tell because awful commercials sprung up everywhere with people trying to rap and seem urban and hip while trying to sell you stuff, and they almost always were horrible. Those were some dark days for sure. But thankfully, at some point in time, the world turned a corner and stopped those awful commercial raps. Or so I thought...

Someone on Twitter found this commercial I’ve never seen before, thankfully. But now that I’ve been tortured with it, I have to share it so I’m not the only one suffering. Al Pacino, rapping? About coffee?

Thankfully, this is a parody ad from the Adam Sandler movie Jack and Jill. I’ve never seen Jack and Jill, (which I hear is a good thing because its supposedly awful), so at first I was horrified thinking it was a real commercial...then I read the comments and realized it was a comedy clip from the movie. Which not only saves Al’s career, but shows he also pretty damn funny and willing to make a joke about himself, which is endearing.
